The High-level Committee on South-South Cooperation, a subcommittee of the General Assembly convened by the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on behalf of the Secretary-General, meets biennially to undertake an overall intergovernmental review of South-South cooperation within the United Nations development system.
“Promoting socio-economic transformation through infrastructure development, employment creation, social cohesion and transfer of technologies using South-South cooperation” will be the topic for discussion during the thematic segment of the 17th session of the High-level Committee on South-South Cooperation.
