Objectives
The South-South Network for Asia was established in March 2007. Its main objective is to use the synergies between the UNDP Regional Centre in Bangkok and the JICA Regional Office to bring bilateral and United Nations entities together to discuss and undertake tangible South-South initiatives in the region.
AchievementsHaving been launched in 2007, the project is still in the initial stages of partnership-building. The main achievement for this initiative was the launching of the South-South Network by the Manager of the Regional Centre and the Resident Representative of the JICA Regional Office with the participation of about 30 bilateral and United Nations entities.
